Interview with Derek DeMoro and James Wright, Co-Founders of Zigy
In Episode #113 of the Joy Joya Jewelry Marketing Podcast, I interview Derek DeMoro and James Wright, the co-founders of Zigy, which is a social selling solution for the direct-to-consumer channel. As Derek described to me in a blurb about the company, “Zigy is LinkedIn, Instagram, Affiliate Networking, Match.com, Shopify, Tik Tok, a global marketplace and ecommerce analytics all mashed up into a single little app.”
Zigy makes it easy for someone to set up an ecommerce shop quickly or even to integrate an existing ecommerce shop to allow for greater selling possibilities, specifically in the realm of brand ambassador partnerships. Zigy helps brands easily connect with influencers and ambassadors who want to have the power to sell products through their own ecommerce storefronts. It’s also a super powerful content sharing tool. A brand can create content for their ambassadors to post, and the analytics behind it all makes it clear which products, ambassadors, and content are driving sales.
I’m going to be honest, I’m rarely impressed with new tech tools and apps, especially when it comes to ecommerce. I actually met Derek through his wife Jennifer DeMoro – one of my jewelry designer clients – and Jenn couldn’t stop raving about Zigy. She even uses the platform for her own ecommerce site. She insisted that I must connect with her husband and get a demo. I went into the meeting with zero expectations and was honestly blown away. I immediately invited Derek and his business partner James to come on the podcast to discuss Zigy. I’m really excited to introduce them and their platform to you too.
It was such a pleasure to be able to speak to Derek and James and to learn more about their platform Zigy. If you want to learn more about Zigy and how you can join, visit the Zigy website.
