Business Development & Lead Generation Specialist

Boutique digital marketing agency Joy Joya is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development & Lead Generation Specialist to provide support in a wide range of business development and sales initiatives to support Joy Joya’s growth. The Specialist will report directly to the agency owner. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is curious and eager to learn, and possesses 1-3 years of experience in an outbound sales role.

This position will be 100% remote from anywhere in the United States assuming the ability to work the required schedule – approximately 20 hours per week, to be determined.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Assist with the creation of business development plans focusing on the expansion of relationships with existing clients, target markets, and prospects.
  • Work closely with the owner to support industry opportunities and identify the best way to capture those opportunities.
  • Support post-marketing effort follow-up to sustain the momentum created by marketing activities, including lead generation and development of an actionable plan with a schedule.
  • Build a pipeline from various sources as well as manage and qualify all inbound leads from various pipelines including marketing campaigns, events, website visits, and content downloads.
  • Keep accurate records of activity and performance using defined processes and systems in the CRM.
  • Generate and qualify interest for Joy Joya’s solutions through outbound calling, email, and other social media platform engagement.
  • Facilitate initial calls with select prospects to further qualify and provide an overview of Joy Joya’s services as well as secure virtual face to face meetings for owner with qualified sales opportunities.
  • Work with owner to drive consistent alignment and collaboration to meet demand generation and company goals.
  • Track and analyze business development activities and how they advance the agency’s business development goals.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a discipline requiring writing, research and analysis, marketing or business skills.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an outbound sales role.
  • Experience working with a CRM.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated, driven, organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize.

Preferred

  • ​Experience in or familiarity with the jewelry industry
  • Experience working in a remote work environment and engaging with teammates primarily via Zoom and Slack
  • Experience with Linkedin and Linkedin Sales Navigator
  • Skilled in ASANA or relevant project management software
  • Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with an agile, fast-paced team

Podcast + Social Media Assistant

Boutique digital marketing agency Joy Joya is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Podcast + Social Media Assistant to provide support in producing, promoting, growing, and optimizing the Joy Joya Podcast. The Assistant will report directly to the agency owner. The ideal candidate is highly creative, has excellent communication skills, is curious and eager to learn, is enthusiastic about the jewelry industry, and possesses at least one year of experience in a similar role.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Schedule and coordinate with guests
  • Plan for, create, and curate promotional content for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Linkedin
  • Schedule podcast distribution
  • Update and maintain files of current and archived shows
  • Ensure podcasts meet internal deadlines
  • Monitor each episode’s analytics and metrics
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to create a supportive and efficient production process
  • Pitch ideas to the production team
  • Conduct topical research and assist in writing scripts
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure completion of deliverables like transcripts
  • Initiate outreach and conduct followup for potential podcast sponsors

Must Haves

  • Experience with creative production tools like Adobe Premiere and Adobe Audition.

  • Self-motivated, driven, organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize.
